WILD STREET
1. Qualifying – Lottery Index: 6.10 to 5.90 in 5 point increments. Example: 5.95 Index; if you run 5.94 on both qualifying passes, you go to the back of the qualifying field. If you run 5.95 in one run and 5.94 in another, you will use the 5.95 as your qualifying time.
2. Breakout – Run quicker than picked index in eliminations, you lose. If two cars run faster than the index, the one closest to the index wins.
3. Fouls – Races with both cars in fault situation – first or worst will apply.
4. Tires – Any DOT approved Radial tire up to 315/60 including 325/50, ET Street 30/13.5 and Mickey Thompson 28/10.5 Slick.
5. Exhaust – Working exhaust with mufflers is required.
6. Wheelie Bars – Permitted.
7. Safety – IHRA Rules apply for E.T.
8. Chassis – Front frame is required, no tube chassis cars. Stock 3-link and 4-link suspensions are allowed. Roll cage must meet IHRA rules for E.T.
9. Standard Equipment – Head lights, tail lights, turn signals and brake lights are required and must be working.
10. Elimination Ladder – A 16-car field will be qualified for eliminations. Eliminations will be run on a pro tree using a pro ladder: Example: 1 runs 16, etc.
11. Points – Points will be kept for a year-end prize. Registration for points and car number will be $50. 10 points will be awarded to #1 qualifier. 30 points will be awarded for perfect attendance during the race season.
12. Fuel – Gasoline only, no alcohol.
13. Electronics – Trans brake permitted. No delay boxes. No throttle stops. No down track stutters. All electronics must be removed from the car.
14. Body – All body panels must be on car. Fiberglass hood, bumpers, fenders and deck lids are allowed. No forward facing hood scoops allowed. No air cleaners permitted through hood. No lexan windows except rear window of truck.
15. Imports – All 6 and 8 cylinder cars with all or rear wheel drive will follow rules 1-5. All front wheel drive 4 cylinder are exempt from rule 4. You may use a slick designated to a 13x26x10 maximum size. Front wheel drive cars are allowed to run slicks only.
16. Fighting – Any competitor (driver and crew) involved in physical altercation with others will be subject to immediate disciplinary action and may result in disqualification and loss of points. Drivers are responsible for the actions of their crew.
17. Price to race the Wild Street Class is $50.00
18. Track official makes the final decision.
